The strength of the Association is its diverse yet cohesive membership. About half are lawyers-judges, academics, and government lawyers as well as those in private practice. The rest span the range of maritime activity-major exporters, shipowners, insurers, brokers, surveyors and seafarers. Non-lawyers play an active and valued role in the Association.
